Cooking Sunday breakfast for one or two becomes a pleasurable task with this compact waffle maker. Red and green lights indicate when to add batter and when the 7-inch round waffle is done. A regulating thermostat and a five-setting control produce waffles perfectly browned to personal preference. With a brushed stainless-steel exterior and sleek design, the waffle maker looks elegant in any kitchen and stores upright in compact spaces. The nonstick round plate is divided into four quarters and wipes clean easily. This classic waffle maker measures 8 by 9-1/2 by 3 inches, and comes with a three-year warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri

| Summary: | A nice regular waffle maker |
| Comment: | My wife and I hate belgian style waffles and have been searching for a long time to find a decent classic waffle iron. We found this one here and decided to give it a try. We've used other Cuisinart products in the past and have liked their quality. This waffle maker is no different. It has various power settings so you can make your waffle as crispy or soft as you like. |

| Summary: | No reason to waffle on this maker |
| Comment: | This little appliance has proven to be a dependable performer over the last four years, generally used two or three times per week. I've yet to encounter any consistent problems with sticking batter although it is the case that in addition to initial seasoning of the plates as suggested in the owner's manual, we have also generally brushed on a thin coat of vegetable oil prior to the first batch of the day. With five browning settings, with a bit of experimentation the user can arrive at a setting that is perfect for individual preferences and as noted, over four years I haven't noticed any variations in the results as the unit ages. Browning is consistent over all surface areas so long as the batter is evenly dispersed. |

| Summary: | Buy this waffle iron if you want your waffles to stick to the grill |
| Comment: | Do not buy this puppy. As you can see it has been around for a while. I made waffles according to the receipe in the instruction book. Put the shade setting on 3 as recommended, waited for the light to go green as recommended. Waffles stuck to grill!!!!! Nothing was mentioned about spraying the waffle iron grill as it should be non stick. The waffle maker also does not have a large surface area so get enough waffle for more than one serving. |

| Summary: | Did a good job - for a while |
| Comment: | We have had this waffle iron for a little over a year. It did an excellent job at first; waffles are crispy and evenly baked in just 90 seconds! However, even though we cared for it as directed, the waffles started to stick after about 8 months of use. We found that we had to spray a little oil on the iron after the first waffle, or the second one would tend to stick a little. It gradually got worse until we were oiling the plates before each waffle, and still had to coax them a little to remove them. Heaven help us if we forgot! We would have thoroughly stuck waffle on both the upper and lower plate, which was quite a challenge to clean off. |
