J.K. Adams TT-1M Toast Tongs

I purchased these tongs when I purchased kitchen scale. The tongs work great. They clasp the food (bread, bagels, etc) and there is no problem. It comes with a magnet on the back so you can attach it to the fridge and get to it with ease when you need it.

Reaching into the toaster oven to rotate bread for even toasting or to pull out an item finished before the heat has turned off has been the cause of many a burn on my fingers and knuckles. Finally, I got smart and bought these toaster tongs. With the handy inlaid magnet, the tongs stick to the outside of the oven and I just grab them to pull out the shelf so I can pick up the bread by hand or slide the food onto a plate without brushing my fingers against the sizzling hot upper burner rod. The tongs are sturdy and do the job very well. The price is right, too.

I was very unhappy with these tongs because they were (1) too short to reach English muffins in the toaster; (2) too stiff (probably because they were too short and had no "give"); and (3) broke because I had to squeeze them too tightly in order to grasp anything being taken out of the toaster. The only redeeming feature was the magnet on the back.

This works very well and has a built-in magnet to allow it to hang on the side of a nearby appliance ... like the refrigerator.

I bought two pair one for toast and a larger one for bagles. I use them all the time. Good price and good service. Would recommend and would shop again.
