I too purchased this stand and when I opened the box I was kind of surprised & disappointed to find out that the plates don't come with it. If there was a description of the product that I didn't see then shame on me, but if you as a company doesn't have the courtesy to inform you customers as to what they are purchasing then shame on you. I will think twice before ordering again from JAF Gifts.

this product is very good and very pretty, but is small and dish is not included

I ordered cake stands from JAF gifts for my wedding. They arrived broken. One of the legs wasn't even attached to the stand. I followed the procedures to return it, calling first and shipping it back within seven days. However, JAF never refunded my money. When I call, they put me on hold for about half an hour and then say a superviser will call me back. Essentially, they stole the price of the stands. I have the tracking information showing they received the broken stands back. Seriously, if you are considering buying from JAF gifts, run. You can actually rent cake stands from local candy and cake shops and know you will not get ripped off.

The item came and I had a couple of shocks but very happy with the end product. They do not come with the actual plates and you must allow about 20 minutes to get all the individually wrap and taped paper off. There are many looks that that is made the other issues less significant. The detail made a high end wedding have a very classic and elegant look at a very affordable price. To even tone down the "bling factor" you can easy add ribbon underneath allowing the color of the bride to be accented and still seeing the excellent silver design.

This is a beautiful piece. It was perfect for what I needed and it is versatile. However, the biggest plate or platter that can be used will be 10 inches. That was fine for me and the cakes I put on this was perfect.
