Tovolo Clear Dripless Baster

This is the best baster! The bulb didn't get hot with the hot liquid inside, it held the liquid perfectly for basting!

Amazing kitchen gadget. I bought it on impulse while I was at Sur La Table before Thanksgiving. I received a fresh-fresh-fresh turkey this year, which would be far leaner than turkeys I've purchased and roasted in the past and I haven't seen hide nor hair of my baster in years. I wanted to make sure I didn't ruin this wonderful bird by letting it get dried out and thought I'd give the dripless baster a shot. I paid $10 for it and would gladly go back and pay that again. I'm thinking of getting a couple for Christmas gifts for foodie friends, they'll love it too. Highly recommended, I don't know how I've lived without one of these!

Tovolo Clear Dripless Baster

First one I've had that actually works without squirting fluids all over the stove. Don't know how long it will last, but I'm enjoying every minute of it. A bargain at any price!

I bought this only several months ago, but it appears to be better than any other brands I have used over the years. It does a great job of suctioning up liquid and retaining it in the tube without it dripping out. The true test will be how well this performance lasts after many uses and washings. I'll keep you posted.
