This 28 Bottle Thermoelectric Wine Cooler from Vinotemp can be placed on a table top or be freestanding to keep your wine at just the right temperature. And because of its thermo-electric cooling system, which involves very few moving parts, your wine will be protected from unneccessary vibration. Thermo-electric cooling is not only good for your valuable wine collection but also for the environment. Using absolutely no ozone depleating chemicals such as CFC's or HCFC's you will be sure that you are doing your part to preserve the environment. The Cooler uses dual paned glass windows, a technology that has been proven in the construction industry. They have better insulation properties, better UV protection, and are easier to clean. This energy efficiency will lead to less electricity usage and savings in energy bills throughout the years. Featuring a black cabinet with stainless steel door trim and handle and sturdy wire shelf racking for individual bottle storage. 6 pull-out chrome shelves and Easy push button controls. Maximum ambient room temperature 77 degrees F. Please note: It is a normal function of the unit for the temperature to fluctuate. The unit is designed to cycle -- and this fluctuation of 5 degrees prevents the unit from excessive cycling. Assembly level/degree of difficulty: Easy. A restocking fee will be deducted if this item is returned.

| Summary: | nice quiet decent fridge |
| Comment: | I got the unit from a target store on a great holiday sale. I probably wouldn't pay retail for it. I set it up and let it sit overnight, then plugged it in and let it sit overnight again. With the thermostat set at 55 (the lowest possible), my own thermometer placed inside reads 60. It seems to be able to hold at 60 pretty well as the ambient temp in my desert apartment fluctuates through the day (no higher than 80 for the ambient temp). |

| Comment: | This product is so good I bought a second one. I especially like the non-compressor cooling, which works very well. The digital readout indicates temperature to readily be maintained at my 60 degree setting, which I consider to be a good European wine cellar temperature. They are totally silent. I bought the first unit on Amazon, and the second from Target where it was on sale and much cheaper than the Amazon price. The unit's packaging was fine, and had no cosmetic damage. I have moved them twice within the family room without issues. |
