I am very pleased with this clothesline. I bought it to replace an old, multi-line one that was displaced in a remodel. This one is quite adequate for my needs, the line tightens up when wrapped around the bottom bracket, and I like the fact that I can remove it from the mounting screws and put it away inside until the next time I need it. In addition to not having to look at it all the time on the wall of my new addition, I'm sure that practice will also prolong its life!

This little clothesline is all I expected and needed - small, inexpensive, but does the job with no problems. I put it up in the basement where I dry things like sweaters and jeans and it works like a charm. Stuff dries quickly without needing to use the dryer. I'm very pleased!

Summary:Great product for a small environmental impact

First time I've tried line drying my clothes. The effort was for energy savings. I just didn't want anything large or obtrusive in my yard so these were perfect. Now that we have used them for several weeks, we love them. Great product...easy to install and take down when not in use. Great value for low cost & no shipping.

Summary:Great for small laundry room
Comment:

We have a small laundry room, and certainly can't hang clothes outdoors in the winter here (at the end of Long Island). This was a great solution to the challenge of having unobtrusive air-drying capability for anything that couldn't go into the dryer, that could be easily put away when not needed.

Summary:There's a trick to keeping the line taught.
Comment:

Great product. Another reviewer had mentioned that you need to pull the line out all the way to get it taught. Just be sure to wrap the line around the little "cleat"/knob on the bottom of the unit and it will stay plenty tight even if it's not pulled out all the way. Other comments -- it's well-made and unobtrusive when it's not in use.
