worked great - just use it outside so that you won't have little fuzz balls all over the house.

I was asked twice to review this product. It didn't cost much, but it also didn't work. Maybe I'm not using it correctly, but either way, I could not get results. It also creates a little mess. It does come attractively packaged.

I'm very pleased with the sweater stone. I use it to remove pilling on my sweaters and wool pants. If you rub lightly (which gets the job done), you shouldn't have to worry about tearing the fabric. It does make a mess, but I just use a small vacuum to clean up afterwards. I definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't want to worry about the harsher, more expensive battery-operated fabric shavers.

This made my sweater even fuzzier than before I used it. I am back to using safety razors to shave my sweater. Buyer beware...

I had never heard of a Sweater Stone, but this thing really works! There is no chance of harming the fabric. The lint and bits of stone that are left, need to be vacuumed or shook out, and you are done.

The odor that has been mentioned, is a sulfur-like smell. I only smelled it during use, and only slightly.
