Purchased as gift for wife-she likes it and so do I. Seems to do an excellent job especially for the money.

Summary:conair steamer

I purchased the conair fabric steamer for my husband, because he wears suits and dress shirts often, I thought that this conair steamer would help him with the wrinkles, especially while traveling. The steamer takes to long to get hot, and then when it does get hot, even while following the directions and not filling it pass the fill line it bubbles over and water wastes all over the place!! It also burns you if you aren't very careful. I was very disappointed with this product. I only purchased this item because someone else's review stated this was a good item. I no longer use it and I have had it less than five months.

Not some miracle steamer, but works good. With a little patience, can steam clothes well, easier than Iron, won't burn yourself as much. A little cheaper at big retail stores, though.

I had this for almost a year and it still working, the steam come out great, and it is very fast to steam all the shirts and pants. The only thing it lacks is its own stand, because when I try to iron the sheet on the bed, I have to put handle down on the floor and be very careful with it...

The machine is lightweight and pretty durable for the price (around 39.99 without coupon in most stores). I got mine at Walgreens Pharmacy with a five dollar coupon. The door hanger works great, it is tight and sturdy and holds the handle of the machine while you are waiting for it to heat up. It also holds your garment, even a coat. Without the pole on the base like some of the machines have, and by using the over the door rack it made this item more portable (the handles snaps into the base). At first the nozzel was hard to get off the machine, but it got better with use. It was also very drippy the first time I used it, but the second time, I put less water (even though both times it was under the max fill line)and let it warm up for a lot longer, and then it worked way better. I was able to crease without using the tool. Overall, I am going to keep it, it works great on linen, denim, t-shirts, and drapes (my blouse... well, not that great). Give it some time and try it more than once and I think you will be pleased. Great buy for the money.
